The ingredients needed to cook Beetroot Paratha:

  1. Prepare 1.5 cup of wheat flour.
  2. Use 1 of medium beetroot.
  3. Get To taste of salt.
  4. You need 2 tsp of oil.
  5. You need 2 tbsp of ghee/ oil to cook paratha.

Steps to make Beetroot Paratha:

  1. Firstly peel, wash and grate the beetroot..
  2. Transfer it to a blender and blend to smooth puree..
  3. Now in a mixing bowl take wheat flour. Add salt and mix well. Next add beetroot puree and 2 tsp oil..
  4. Knead it to a smooth & soft dough and let it rest for 10-15 minutes..
  5. Divide the dough into equal sized balls. Roll out each ball to thick paratha I.e. slightly thicker than chapati..
  6. Heat a tawa/ griddle on medium heat and place the rolled paratha on it. Roast it until light golden spots appear on both sides..
  7. Apply some ghee or oil and press slightly on both sides. Roast till both sides are cooked properly. Roast all the beetroot parathas likewise..
  8. Finally serve beetroot paratha hot with curd, green chutney or any chutney of your choice..
